About

In January 2010 brothers Tony and Andy Johnson knew it was time to take out the guitars, turn on the laptop, and start writing music together again.

What started as an EP quickly evolved into a 12-song album, officially released August 17, 2010. Having grown up writing music with Adam Young of Owl City in groups such as Windsor Airlift, Dolphin Park, and Left Lane (among countless others), the music of Glacier Island flows in a similar vein.

A little older, a little wiser, and a faster processor in their computer, Glacier Island’s sophomore album “The Campfire Lullabies” released online on August 17, 2012, exactly 2 years after “From Pelican Shores,” their first release

They are currently writing new material intended to be played through laptop speakers.
